Building your own compost heap

Move on to the construction of your pile. You could also use old wood or bricks to construct a square or 3-4 rectangle feet tall. This Habit way you allow some room for your compost heap to expand. For grass and leaves — just a giant heap the size mentioned. Leave a gap in the central section of your pallet compost bin. This gap is significant as it enables the air to circulate and that too can be advantageous for taking a good compost. 

After your compost heap has been established, you are now ready to add materials to it. There are all sorts of things you can add, like fruit and vegetable scraps, eggshells, coffee grounds, even shredded paper or cardboard. All of these issues will assist make rich compost. Never place meat or dairy products in the compost pile. If not, the animals will come and hurt you, which means that there is no greater odor for them.
